Amazing work. I love it! You inspire me. Have to put more thoughts into my artwork :)
Michelle Joseph-Long replied:
Thank you! I'm glad I can be an inspiration. Always strive to capture your own perspective in the work you do. A group of people can look at the same landscape but see it and capture it differently. When you look back at the results the perspectives are different but all capture the beauty in creative ways.

“Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his pictures.” .... Congratulations on your recent sale on an wonderful work.

This is a wonderful capture Michelle - it is a toss-up which is the favorite - this or the selective color. Both are super captures of a special view of this city. L/F /Following

Thanks all for your friendly words and congrats! Charles, the ride up the incline is not nearly as rewarding as actually get the full view from outside. And, if you ever get the chance to visit Pittsburgh, you need to find your way up to the West Side overlook. I only recommend that you don't go through that section of town alone. Some interesting characters begin to come out as the sun falls. :-) This image, however, was taken at the time of the Duquesne Incline.

What an awesome composition, Michelle. I have never before seen so vividly the beginning of the mighty Ohio River at the "Confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela." I love it. Congaturlations on your much deserved sale. I can imagine the ride up the incline must be pretty spectacular. v/f
