Description
This is an image of an original acrylic painting I created for my daughter as a gift. The Egyptian Weeping Willow used in the painting is a favorite of my daughters. She always used this tree as a backdrop to many self portraits. I thought I would create her a little solitude by combining her favorite tree with a lake and sunset, that represents a local lake where I have taken many photographs.

Thank you C Ray Roth. I appreciate your comment. This is one of my favorite paintings I've done as well. It hangs on my daughter's wall in her home. I painted it specifically for her.

Thank you Ann. I appreciate your comment regarding the tree. It took some work to get that part where I liked it. (too dark, too light, wrong direction compared to my light source. LOL!)

Thank you Tony. Time is sometimes a factor for me when it comes to painting. I do really enjoy it however and will continue to paint as much as possible. I've actually grown more fond of painting over my photography, but still enjoy using my camera as my medium as well.
